EIILM University is situated in the city of Jorethang, Sikkim with around 2000 students enrolled in its campus. NCIS is the exclusive Industry & Education Resource Provider (IERP) of EIILM University for running regular education programmes and student internship.

EIILM University has resolved to conduct the regular internship/ training/ research (CIB education) programmes related to arts, social sciences, education, journalism & mass communication, commerce, paramedical, pharmacy, sciences & engineering and other courses with the industry and education resource support from NCIS to help in finalizing Collaborative Industry based Internship Points (CIIP) and in internship/ training/ research work for the students and directly enrolling students in university from India and abroad exclusively.

CIB Education is most contemporaneous noble concept originated by NCIS, which integrate education and industry to promote more adequate professional skills in students. CIB education enables students to obtain all basic and functional knowledge of the industry in which they wish to work. 

EIILM University is legislated by the government of Sikkim under the Eastern Institute of Integrated Learning in Management University, Sikkim Act 2006 (Act No. 4 of 2006 No. 28/LD/2006/Dated April 04, 2006) published in the Sikkim Government Gazette on April 17, 2006. 

EIILM University is recognized by UGC u/s 2f and empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC u/s 22 of UGC act 1956. The CIB education programmes are regular and do not come under the purview of DEC.
